Saudi Camel Festival Features Prize Pool Of USD 15 Million

São Paulo – Saudi Arabia will host the fifth crown prince Camel Festival starting August 1, featuring a prize pool of SAR 56.25 million (USD 14.9 million).
The festival is scheduled to be hosted by the Saudi Camel Federation at Taif Camel Square and feature 589 races . It'll start with an 11-day preliminary stage for all age groups featuring 350 races and will culminate with 239 final races on August 28.
Even as Saudi Arabia rapidly modernizes, the animals remain a central part of Saudi culture and are celebrated for their beauty, grace and speed.
Since the Crown Prince Camel Festival's inception in 2018, it has attracted a huge number of camel enthusiasts from around the world. It seeks to support the country's tourism and economic development.
