(MENAFN) A Swedish activist, who initially prearranged to openly set on fire a copy of the Holy Koran, has decided to substitute it with the NATO founding document in a forthcoming stunt, numerous regional press sources have stated outlets.
By vandalizing the Muslim sacred book, the 29-year-old had supposedly wished to guarantee that Turkeys is going to continue spoiling Stockholm’s offer to become a part of the United States-driven army association.
Based on the news agency source, law enforcement, on Monday, gave Lucas Ljungkvist authorization to set on fire a religious manuscript in the town of Helsingborg in southern Sweden. The stunt was prearranged to happen on Wednesday.
However, shortly after the establishments granted their consent, it was declared that Turkeys had approved to permit the Scandinavian country into NATO. The news agency as well as another news agency stated that the news provoked the activist to alter his tactics. Ljungkvist now obviously wants to set on fire a copy of the North Atlantic Treaty as an alternative.
