Dubai offers more than 40 million chocolates annually


(MENAFN) According to Dubai’s Emirates, over 40 million bars of chocolate are served annually.

Before World Chocolate Day which was on July 7, the airline released information on the scope of the chocolate business on Emirates aircraft and lounges.

Emirates chooses its 40 million chocolates in part based on their "instagrammabilityit also originates from renowned confectioners across the globe.

Emirates chooses and serves a variety of artisan chocolate as a part of the meal service in all classes, to 140 locations worldwide, to enhance the travel experience.

In December 2022, Emirates added huge gourmet boxes of chocolate to First Class, allowing premium guests to try anything on board and they may even request some of their favorite flavors to go, with chocolate lovers enjoying over 36,000 boxes in the previous 6 months.

The airline works closely with artisan chocolatiers from all around the worldamong them are the UAE's Bateel, Coco Jalila, as well as Forrey & Galland, Valrhona from France, Godiva from Belgium, Canonica as well as Neuhaus from Switzerland, Butlers from Ireland, Pacari from Ecuador, also Hotel Chocolat from the United Kingdom.
