(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. The Eurasian
Development Bank (EDB) will assist the Mayor's Office of the
capital of Kyrgyzstan through public-private partnership in the
implementation of the "Bishkek 2026 Development Programme. A
Comfortable and Green Capital", trend reports.
According to the bank, the corresponding memorandum was signed
during the Eurasian Congress '23 in Sochi (Russia) by Denis Ilin,
Vice Chairman of the EDB Management Board, and Emilbek Abdykadyrov,
Mayor of Bishkek.
At the moment, the parties are already discussing a number of
specific infrastructure projects of public-private partnership.
Meanwhile, the EDB and the municipality of the capital of
Kyrgyzstan agreed to implement and scale the best practices of
public-private partnership through the preparation of projects,
financing the preparation of pre-project documentation, including
in the solid waste management sector.
