Women's Police Force Vital In Security, Stability - PSD Chief


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah on Wednesday affirmed that the Women's Police force in Jordan serve as a testament to the capabilities of Jordanian women in fulfilling their duties and contributing to the promotion of security and stability, alongside their male counterparts.

During his visit to the Women's Police Headquarters and his meeting with the female officers, Maaytah emphasised the PSD's full support for the vital role of the Women's Police force in various administrative and operational domains.

He affirmed the importance of harnessing their potential through well-structured organisational and operational plans that will enable them to achieve their objectives in the most effective manner, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During
his visit, Maaytah
received a briefing from the commander of the Women's Police force, which outlined the crucial tasks undertaken by the female personnel, as well as the strategic plans and procedures implemented to enhance their performance in their respective roles.
