(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Russian army shelled Kherson region 73 times over the past day, injuring one person.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched 73 attacks, firing 335 shells from mortars, artillery, tanks, UAVs, and aircraft.

The enemy shelled the city of Kherson three times (11 shells)... Due to Russian aggression, one person was injured," Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on telegram .

In particular, according to his data, the Russian military shelled residential neighborhoods of the populated settlements of the region; the territory and premises of a factory and an educational institution in Kherson.

Over the past day, 119 people were evacuated from the de-occupied territory of the region.
