The 48th Geneva International exhibition of Inventions, co-organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization and others, was held in Geneva, Switzerland, from April 26 to 30. Following the intense competition, two Airdoc products,“Smart Fundus Camera” and“Myopic Light Therapy Instrument”,
were selected from over 1,000 technological inventions to receive the highest level of recognition: the“Special Achievement Golden Award”.
Founded in 1973, the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions is the world's longest-running, largest, and most influential international invention exhibition. This year's event attracted more than 1,000 scientific and technological inventions from over 40 countries and regions. Event judges were selected by the organizing committee from various European countries. Judges communicated with the exhibitors and divided
awards into three categories: gold, silver, and bronze.
Among 165 invention projects exhibited by Chinese teams at the event, 55 of them received gold medals. The“Special Achievement Golden Award” winners were selected from the gold medal-winning projects and required a unanimous vote from the judging panel. The annual award rate is less than 5%. The fact that both of the products exhibited by Airdoc
received the“Special Achievement Golden Award” shows that the company's research capabilities and innovative achievements have been widely recognized worldwide.
Both Airdoc products were awarded the top prize at the International Exhibition of Inventions
One of the two products that were
recognized with the top award at the exhibition is the Smart Fundus Camera, a fully automated, self-service, portable fundus camera that has been used in both domestic and international medicine, healthcare, eye health treatment, and other settings, serving more than 10 million users. Based on millions of high-quality, multi-dimensional cross-labeled retinal image data and artificial intelligence technology, the product can detect irregularities in the optic retina of dozens of eye diseases and early stages of chronic diseases through optic images within one minute, and instantly generate professional and transparent electronic reports to help achieve the early detection and diagnosis of blinding eye diseases and chronic diseases.
Another gold recipient was the Myopic Light Therapy Instrument, which uses red light to stimulate the retina, simulating natural light to promote the release of dopamine in the fundus of the eye, which increases the oxygen penetration rate and causes an increase in blood flow to the choroid, thereby increasing the thickness of the choroid and improving the scleral hypoxia, which in turn inhibits the rapid growth of the eye lens.
Both products are important scientific research achievements for Airdoc, which have been constantly integrated and innovated in the process. Airdoc
has always remained committed to technological innovation and transformation and has been continuously expediting the opportunities for local inventions to reach overseas markets. The company
is
currently running a business
in over ten countries on five continents and expects
to serve greater populations in the future.
Airdoc
has always valued research innovation and intellectual property protection and has published more than 50 high-level papers in authoritative peer-reviewed journals, such as The Lancet series and the British Journal of Ophthalmology, as well as in top international conferences, such as MICCAI. In addition, the company holds over 300 patents and patent submissions, as well as more than a dozen published PCT applications and international patents.
As a national“little giant”
corporation and an intellectual property advantage corporation, Airdoc has been recognized by many parties, including the China National Intellectual Property Administration, for its high level of patent technology and innovation. In the past year, Airdoc has scored several honors, including the Most Promising Award at the High-Value Patent Cultivation Competition in Haidian District and the Outstanding Intellectual Property Management Team award in China. Recently, the company was awarded the Excellence Award at the announcement of the 24th China Patent Award, the highest level of honor in the field of intellectual property in China.
These awards are a demonstration of Airdoc's capabilities in technological inventions. In the future, Airdoc will continue to pursue its corporate mission of“More Intelligence, Better Care” and remain committed to professionalism, accessibility, and loyalty. It hopes to continue to leverage technology to contribute value to its customers and society, and make quality medical and health services accessible to more people.
