Kuwait Follows Up Nationals' Situation In Sudan Amid Security Developments


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following up, through Kuwait Embassy in Khartoum, the situation of Kuwaitis stranded in Sudan due to the current security developments seen in the country.
The Ministry reassured about the Kuwaiti nationals and urged them to keep at their residence, be cautious and vigilant, avoid conflict areas and abide by instructions issued by Sudan's official bodies.
The Ministry said that it is currently in contact with the concerned bodies in the sisterly Republic of Sudan to study all possible alternatives to ensure the Kuwaitis' safety and evacuate them if security conditions are suitable.
The Ministry further pointed out that it is communicating permanently with the embassy to make sure of the safety of nationals and provide them with public guidelines to guarantee their security and safety in such difficult and unstable conditions. (end) hm
