Dyson unveils new Mall of the Emirates demo store


(MENAFN- Weber Shandwick) Dyson expands its retail presence in the UAE with the opening of its Mall of the Emirates demo store on 28 March. The new immersive store will be the first in the region to host a service centre offering repairs within the retail space, along with having the second Beauty Lab location in Dubai, encouraging customers to test and experience Dyson’s latest technology and see first-hand how they work.

The 216 sq. metre space will be a hub of innovation and commitment to technology, displaying Dyson's full portfolio products, and some direct only/special edition ones, helping owners discover, explore, and better understand how Dyson technology works.

The Mall of the Emirates Dyson demo store will offer an immersive experience with the location being the second in Dubai to offer the unique Beauty Lab service within the mall environment. This is a private salon space where owners can feel comfortable trying any of Dyson’s haircare technology, such as the Dyson Corrale™ cordless hair straightener, the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer and the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler. Technology lovers will be able to seek advice from the Dyson experts on hand and discover Dyson’s iconic hair care collection with ease. Visitors will be offered private consultations and an expert shopping experience on a booking-basis across all the personal care range.

The new demo store will also be the first regionally to have a service centre in the store offering owners the opportunity to visit experts directly and drop their devices for repairs. The express repair service gives customers access to a Dyson Service Engineer who will assess the work required and conduct the repairs within a short time frame, so customers can continue shopping and return to pick up the repaired device later.

Visitors will be able to shop all of Dyson’s innovations such as the soon-to-launch Dyson Zone™ air purifying headphones which will be available to purchase from the store before the end of the year. The opportunity to book private appointments to experience the Dyson Zone™ first-hand will also be on offer in the next few months. Visitors will have the chance to browse Dyson’s inventions across all three main product ranges - Floor Care, Environmental Care, and Hair Care – with interactive demonstrations that bring to life the science at the core of Dyson technology. This includes a space to test Dyson’s high performing cord-free vacuums and its range of intelligent, connected air purifiers. By providing opportunities to test these technologies, Dyson offers visitors the ultimate in ‘try-before-you-buy’ retail experience.

By buying directly from the Dyson store, owners will be offered the chance to personalise the case of their haircare products, as well as gift wrap any of their purchases with exclusive Dyson-branded wrapping paper, free of charge.

Between 8 – 21 April, the Mall of the Emirates demo store will exclusively sell a limited-edition Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer in blue and 23.75 karat gold. Finished in deep blue with a hand-crafted gold leafed circular aperture, a traditional craftsmanship technique is used to perfectly blend engineering precision with artisan craft. The limited-edition colourway is presented in a slim red case, which can be personalised with initials.

The second demo store in Mall of the Emirates, located on the first floor, joins Dyson’s Dubai Mall demo store, as well as seven Dyson demo zones in the UAE including Al Wahda Mall, The Galleria, Yas Mall, and Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, Marina Mall and Mirdif City Centre in Dubai, and City Centre Al Zahia, in Sharjah.
