(MENAFN) The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the beginning of preschool registration assessments for the 2023-2024 academic year, starting from April 12. The screening is necessary for preschool students who are applying to join schools for the upcoming academic year. PHCC has assured that it will follow screening procedures in one visit, taking all necessary precautionary measures.
Parents are required to call 107 and book an appointment for preschool registration assessment. They must attend their assigned health centre on the scheduled day, one hour ahead of the appointment time, and bring necessary documents, including a valid QID card, health card, birth certificate, and vaccination card. Students and parents are required to head to the assigned health centre's reception, followed by the nursing assessment, laboratory test, social worker's assessment, dental clinic, and finally the family doctor's clinic.
At the family doctor's clinic, the student will undergo a clinical examination to access all examinations and test results, and the health certificate will be issued electronically. The results of the medical examination can be viewed electronically via a link shared with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The PHCC has emphasized the importance of taking all precautionary measures during the screening process to ensure the safety of students and staff. By following the necessary procedures, the PHCC aims to provide a smooth and efficient assessment process for preschool students and their parents.
This registration assessment is an essential step for preschool students who are applying to join schools for the new academic year. The PHCC's efforts in providing a safe and efficient screening process for preschool students and their parents contribute to ensuring that students receive the necessary health assessments before joining school. This initiative supports the Qatar National Vision 2030 of providing high-quality education and healthcare services to all citizens and residents of Qatar.
