Ukrainian Forces Destroy Rare Enemy Radar System


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian defense forces destroyed a Russian Repeynik radar station.

The Operational Command North reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“Intelligence officers of the 30th Prince Konstanty Ostrogski Mechanized Brigade detected the enemy's Repeynik radar system and provided coordinates to the neighbors from the 45th separate artillery brigade. An accurate shot from the M777 - and the target was destroyed," the report says.

The Repeynik radar system is a modern Russian radar system for detecting drones. It has been in service with the invaders since 2022. According to data as of January, the Russians produced only 11 such stations.

As reported by Ukrinform, from February 24, 2022 to April 9, 2023, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 178, 150 Russian aggressors, including 470 soldiers over the past day alone.
