Palestinian Child Wounded In Israeli Strike On Gaza -- Wafa


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, April 7 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian child was wounded in AN Israeli air strike targeting Gaza Strip, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa said on Friday.
Wafa said the child suffered medium cuts when the fighter jets raided and hit a location west of Khan Younes town. The strike demolished the target and nearby buildings.
Majdi Abu Naameh, a resident of the targeted area, told KUNA that the bombing hit roads and adjacent lands early today. He added that his two floor house was damaged.
A spokesman of the Israeli Army said the air force carried out several raids on ten positions in the strip, while 44 rockets were fired from the enclave in the direction of Israeli-patrolled areas. (end)
