A new full-length trailer for the upcoming action thriller 'Kandahar' directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Angel Has Fallen, Greenland) and starring Gerard Butler, Ali Fazal, Travis Fimmel and Navid Negahban has been released. Kandahar was the first major US film to shoot in the AIUla region of Saudi Arabia and will be released in the Middle East by Eagle Films on 26 May 2023.
The G-BASE, Thunder Road, Capstone Studios and MBC Studios feature reunites Gerard Butler and director Ric Roman Waugh in the story of Tom Harris (Butler), an undercover CIA operative, stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. After his mission is exposed, he must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar, all whilst avoiding elite enemy forces and foreign spies tasked with hunting them down.
