Report: Three People Charged With Terrorism Financing In Luxembourg


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, April 4 (KUNA) -- Three people in Luxembourg have been charged with terrorism financing, Luxembourg Times newspaper reported Tuesday quoting the prosecutor's office.
The police's anti-terrorism unit searched the home of four people "suspected of sending money to a person who claimed to be a member of a terrorist organization", said the prosecutor's office.
Following the searches, three people were charged with terrorism financing, two of whom have been placed in pre-trial detention, while the third is the subject of a judicial review.
The prosecutor's office did not name the precise location of the searches, nor the group to which the money is alleged to have been sent. (end)
