Minister Of Environment Holds Discussions On Sidelines Of UN 2023 Water Conference

New York: Minister of Environment and Climate Change H E sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani met with President of the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) H E Csaba Korosi, on the sidelines of the UN 2023 Water Conference, which is held in New York city, USA.

During the meeting, they discussed the outcomes of the 5th United Nations conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), which recently concluded in Doha. Dr. Csaba Korosi commended the successful organization and results of this significant event.

Minister of Environment and Climate Change also met with Lebanon's Minister of Energy and Water H E Dr. Walid Fayad, on the sidelines of the UN 2023 Water Conference, which is held in New York city, USA.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the developmental experiences of the two countries in the areas of sustainability and water conservation, which could be an effective tributary in the international efforts exerted to contribute to water conservation.

Separately the Minister met with Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fishing of Tunisia H E Abdelmonem Belati, on the sidelines of the UN 2023 Water Conference. The meeting addressed experiences and expertise in preserving water resources and contributing to global efforts to preserve Planet Earth.
