JCC, Hungarian Ambassador Discuss Commercial Ties

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Deputy Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Jamal Rifai and Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan Attila Kali on Saturday discussed means to enhance economic and commercial relations between the two countries and the role of chambers of commerce in boosting ties.

Rifai stressed the need to convene the Jordanian-Hungarian Business Forum on the sidelines of the Jordanian-Hungarian Joint Committee meeting, to be held later this year, with the aim of reviewing investment opportunities in the two countries and focusing on the sectors that could be marketed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Kali stressed the need to strengthen economic relations between the two countries and take advantage of available opportunities, as well as to exchange visits of delegations and trade missions. Last year, the Kingdom's exports to Hungary amounted to $1.15 million, compared with $34 million of imports from Hungary.
