Missile Attack, New Sanctions Against Russia: Zelensky Speaks With Von Der Leyen
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen condemned today's Russian missile attacks. “During a call with Ursula von der Leyen, we condemned today's Russia's missile attacks. Welcomed new package of sanctions and agreed on further pressure on Russian aggressor,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.
The parties also discussed Ukraine's progress in implementing the EU Commission's recommendations.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called Russia's latest massive missile attack on Ukraine a war crime.

As reported, on the night and morning of March 9, the Russian Federation launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 34 of the 48 Russian Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles launched on March 9.
