Kuwait Equestrian Team Making Debut At EWG In Abu Dhabi


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's national equestrian team will be marking its first appearance at the FEI Endurance World Championships (EWC) to be held in Abu Dhabi tomorrow, Saturday.
The equestrians Farea Al-Waqian, Heba Al-Aish, Eman Al-Otaibi and Khaled Al-Omran will be representing Kuwait in the 160KM disturbance race, head the Kuwaiti mission Ahmad Al-Ruwaished told reporters on Friday.
The team is prepared for the competition in Boudheib Global Village and will be under the supervision of the team's coach Abdullah Al-Asfour and his assistant Mutlaq Al-Khalidi, he added.
While also expressing is high hopes for the team in achieving top positions in the competition as they go up against some of the world best horseback riders.
The race is scheduled to commence at 5:45 am and broadcasted on Yas and Dubai Racing TV Channel along with other international TV Channels. (end)
