IRGC Spokesperson Praised Iran's Deterrent Capability, People's Efforts in Countering Foreign Threats
(MENAFN) During a ceremony commemorating the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, the spokesperson for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Ramezan Sharif, praised Iran’s strong defensive and military capabilities.
Sharif highlighted the deterrent capability of Iran, stating that no country would be foolish enough to strike the Islamic Republic given its advanced defense and military capabilities, which were achieved through the wise measures of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the round-the-clock efforts of Iran's defenders.
He further emphasized that the Iranian people played a vital role in countering foreign threats and every nation in the world desires security.
However, Sharif also stated that Iran is proud of the fact that it does not need to rely on nefarious global forces to provide security within its borders.
He also applauded the people's "understanding and intellect" in the face of plots concocted by Iran's enemies, and noted that separatist organizations seek to gain control of the Iranian provinces of Sistan-Baluchestan and Kurdistan. Overall, Sharif’s remarks showcased Iran's military and defensive power while highlighting the resilience and determination of the Iranian people to protect their country.
