LONDON - The Hoffman Agency has promoted Chris Owen from UK director to the newly-created role of UK general manager.
The promotion follows a third consecutive year of more than 50% year-on-year revenue growth for the global technology agency's UK operation, which has been led by Owen since he joined in 2019 from m&c saatchi and now has a team of 12, two-thirds of whom are from diverse backgrounds.
Owen said:“I'm really proud of what we've built in the UK, the amazing team we have, and the culture we've created. We've really got something quite special, where we have energy, creativity, and dynamism without ego or politics. It means everyone looks out for, and supports, each other and we can crack on with just doing great work. It's a genuine privilege to lead the team.”

The Hoffman Agency's European business was bolstered last November by the acquisition of independent b2b technology agency eloquenza pr , and Pinsent said the agency had further ambitions for expansion in the EMEA region beyond the UK and continental Europe.
“We have a fantastic foundation for growth in Germany, and we're soon to announce further expansion of our team in France,” he said.“It's likely that we'll strengthen our proposition in Italy and Spain this year, I'm on the hunt for talent in the Netherlands, and the Nordic region is somewhere I'd like to explore. Additionally, while we have excellent partners in the Middle East and Africa, both are regions where we see great potential.”
