Next year budget bill collects USD302.6m to Industry, Mining, Trade Ministry, other sectors


(MENAFN) The budget bill for the upcoming Iranian calendar year 1402, which begins on March 21, has collected 121.052 trillion rials (nearly $302.63 million) to Industry, Mining and Trade Ministry.

Of the stated number, the portion of the ministry is 95.225 trillion rials (around USD238.06 million), that of the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) is 17.065 trillion rials (nearly USD42.66 million), 184 billion rials (around USD460,000) is the stake of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), the stake of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) is 400 billion rials (about $1 million), in addition to that of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) which has a share of 3.169 trillion rials (nearly $7.92 million).

Leader Ebrahim Raisi submitted the government’s draft of the national budget bill for the upcoming year to the Majlis on Wednesday.

The leader stated that steady financial expansion, people’s livelihood, observing justice, as well as efficiency of the administration system as the major methods of the budget bill and asserted that “In this bill, the establishment of a progress and justice fund in all provinces is foreseen so that the development credits of the provinces are paid systematically.”

Raisi also mentioned that “We have included the important points considered by the Leader in the general policies of the Seventh National Development Plan (2022-2026) in the drafting of the 1402 budget bill.”
