(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ADEN, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak reaffirmed the resolve of Presidential Leadership Council to restore peace and stability countrywide.
'The fact that there is no peace partner undermines every effort to bring the country out of the crisis,' he said during his meeting with French ambassador to Yemen Jean-Marie Safa on Saturday.
'The hostile nature of the Houthi militias poses a threat to peace and security not only in Yemen but in the entire region as well,' Yemen News Agency (SABA) quoted the minister as saying.
He noted that the international community has become fully aware of this fact and the falsehood of the Houthis' propaganda.
On his part, the French diplomat said his country would continue standing by Yemen's legitimate authorities in their efforts to restore peace security and stability countrywide. (end)
