Iran ambassador hold meeting with Iraqi finance minister
(MENAFN) Iranian envoy to Iraq Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq on Monday held a meeting with Iraqi Finance Minister Taif Sami to talk about methods to grow relations among Tehran and Baghdad.
The gathering occurred at the Iraqi finance ministry.
“At the beginning of the meeting, Mrs. Taif Sami welcomed the ambassador, indicating the depth of the close bilateral relations that bind Iraq and Iran,” according to a statement by the Iraqi finance ministry.
Sami clarified as well that the Iraqi administration eagerness to back and improve the ties to contain numerous sectors, mainly with regard to financial and economic affairs, as said by the statement.
Minister Taif also valued the many tireless attempts targeted at growing communication and mutual coordination among Iraq and the Islamic Republic, which might improve two-sided ties and pave new horizons of collaboration among the two parties, the statement also mentioned.
