Kuwait Exhibition In Egypt Platform For Cultural Interaction


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- Participants in the 13th Kuwaiti Exhibition in Egypt have affirmed significance of the fair as a platform for cultural interaction and promotion OF the brotherly bonds between Kuwait and Egypt.
The 'Kuwaiti Week in Egypt' carries substantial impact on boosting the brotherly relations between Kuwait and Egypt, with the broad participation of institutions and association from the two countries, Sara Al-Mutairi, the acting director of the Kuwaiti office for charitable projects said in remarks to KUNA.
The office has executed a chain of philanthropic projects in the Egyptian governorates with contributions by Kuwaiti donors via the Kuwaiti Zakat House, she said, indicating that the aid reached orphans, students and mosques' builders.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Wafiq, the renovation director at Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi company, affirmed that the exhibition reflected the continuing close cooperation between the two countries and peoples.
Nadia Al-Shatti, the head of Ibrahim Taher association, said the society offers aid to people who support their mothers and hold competitions in short stories, poetry, painting and photographing.
Fadhila Ayadah, Kuwaiti formative artist, said she was elated to partake in the event 'that deepens the relations between Kuwait and Egypt.' The exhibition is an opportunity to display Kuwaiti arts and role of the Kuwaiti women in this realm.
Ayadha is displaying a number of her works, depicting the Kuwaiti heritage. Her peer, Khadija Abulhesen, said she was pleased with the good organization of the fair. Her paintings showed old Kuwait. (end)
