Isfahan district sees 15 percent surge in shipment in first 8 months YoY
(MENAFN) The worth of shipment from Isfahan district surged 15 percent in the opening eight months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-November 21), in comparison with the same span of time in the last year, as declared by the director-general of the province’s customs department.
Rasoul Kouhestani-Pajouh asserted that 1.518 million tons of goods valued at USD999.059 million have been shipped from the district in the eight-month time span, with eight percent expansion in mass on a yearly basis.
The official stated that 712 types of commodities were shipped to 89 different nations from the province in the opening eight months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year.
He stated that the following outputs: cast iron, iron and steel, petrochemical products, dairy products, machine and handwoven carpets, iron as well as cast-iron are the main shipped goods while he named Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, in addition to Armenia as the major shipment destinations.
