SRINAGAR- The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association on Saturday announced a 25-member list of selected footballers from Kashmir who will take part in further trials for the upcoming 73rd Santosh Trophy National Football Championship.
The selected footballers will now have to travel to Jammu by December 5 to take part in the next phase of the selection trials. The trials were held at Synthetic Turf TRC from December 2 to 3.
Here's the list of all selected players:
Goalkeepers: Furqaan Ahmad Dar (FC1), Majid (Bangalore HAL), Shabir Hussain (Kashmir Avengers)
Defenders: Urfan Hamid (J&K Bank), Hyder Yousuf Wani (FC1), Talib Gulzar (FC1), Faisal Thakur (J&K Bank), Farhan Ganai (J&K Bank), Zahid Yousuf (STFC), Faisal Wangnoo (Downtown Heores), Liyaqat Wani (FC1), Mohammad Ali (FC1).
Midfielders: Mohammad Inaam (RKFC), Shahmeer Tariq (Downtown Heroes), Sheikh Talib (STFC), Zubair Ahmad (FC1), Hayat Bashir (FC1), Zaffar Illayeen (J&K Bank).
Forwards: Adnan Ayoub (J&K Bank), Furqan Nabi Zargar (J&K Bank), Aakif Reshi (J&K Bank), Imad-u-Din (STFC), Ateeb Shafi (FC1), Shafqat (FC1), Mehran Hilal Dar (FC1).
