stc sponsors East Padel Tournament, one of the largest tournaments in Kuwait held over 6 months

Kuwait, 30 November 2022: Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, announced that it will be the main sponsor of the East Padel Tournament that is held over the course of 6 months. The sponsorship of the tournament builds on stc’s numerous initiatives launched this year, with its participation in this event tied to the Company’s commitment towards empowering and backing the local sports community.
The East Padel Tournament consists of 4 tournaments and a total of 40 total match days in which over 1,500 players will compete for a chance to win part of the KD 16,000 total prize pool. The East Padel Tournament series, held at El Padel Academy behind Kuwait Towers, was initiated to encourage competition amongst top players in the world. The tournament will attract professional Padel players seeking to showcase their professional skills, improve their professional rankings, and get a chance to win one of the valuable prizes. As the main sponsor, stc will also be sponsoring private training sessions for individuals who visit their booth and sign up at the tournament.
Considering how Padel has become the latest trend in sports amongst the younger generation, stc, through its sponsorship, encourages those interested in competing professionally in the sport to participate. As part of its CSR program, stc participated in similar initiatives throughout the year, as well as other sport activities in support of the youth community in Kuwait.
Throughout the tournament, stc will welcome attendees and athletes at its booth where it will hold several small competitions with valuable prizes to be distributed to winners and participants. stc also will provide visitors access to its full range of telecom and digital services at the booth.
