Saudi Arabia Denounces Houthis' Targeting Of Civilian Property In Yemen

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 22 (KUNA) -- The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday the continued attacks on civilian property and economic infrastructure in Yemen confirm the systematic policy of the Houthis to exacerbate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
'With their targeting of the world's energy and trade corridors, the Houthi terrorist militias confirm that are still adamantly opposed to the international peace initiatives,' according to a statement from the Ministry.
'The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands in full solidarity with Yemen and renews the call for halting the flow of weapons to the Houthis in keeping with the relevant UN resolutions,' it stressed.
The Ministry highlighted the need to help Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council restore peace and security across the country.
Yesterday, the Yemeni Ministry of Oil and Mineral said the Houthi rebels attacked Al-Dhabba oil terminal in the eastern governorate of Hadhramaut with a bomb-laden drone, the second such attack on the terminal in one month. (end)
