Saif Bin Zayed Attends Graduation Of 1104 Students From Higher Colleges Of Technology

abu dhabi, 17th november, 2022 (wam) – Lt.-Gen. H.H. sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the Higher Colleges of technology (HCT) graduation ceremony held for 1104 students in Abu Dhabi. The ceremony also included students of Khalifa bin Zayed Air College and Rashid bin Saeed Naval College, with 83 graduates awarded Excellence and Excellence with Honours degrees. The event was attended by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology, HE Dr. Faisal Al Ayyan, Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology, Dr. Aisha Bushlebi, Director of Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi, and members of the administrative and teaching staff, and parents of graduates.

Sheikh Saif handed the certificates to the distinguished graduates and handed the sash of pride to the guardian of the graduate Ahmed Noaman Al Magrami who came first over all colleges of technology. This is an initiative by the Higher Colleges of Technology to honuor parents and support them for their children's academic excellence. Then, Sheikh Saif took a commemorative photo with all the graduates, extended his congratulations to the graduates, and called on them to exert more effort and giving, and to put what they have learned in the service of their country and its judicious leadership and to contribute to the UAE's comprehensive development process.

He also praised the scientific and civilizational role played by the Higher Colleges of Technology as a national academic institution from which generations of qualified Emirati youths were graduated to support and enrich the process of modernization, development, leadership, advancement and active participation in building the bright future of the UAE.

Dr. Faisal Al Ayyan, President & CEO of HCT, gave a speech at the beginning of the ceremony in which he congratulated to the graduates, expressing the highest thanks and gratitude to the wise leadership, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as their brothers, Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates. Al Ayyan's thanks for the rulers came for their permanent support and sponsorship of the Higher Colleges of Technology for more than 34 years.

Throughout these years, the colleges produce technical cadres and professionals in vital disciplines, empowering them with knowledge and future skills to contribute to development and achieve leadership ambitions.

He expressed his thanks and appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan for attending the graduation ceremony of the 'Future Bet' 2022 Class of the Higher Colleges of Technology graduates. Al Ayyan said that he felt proud of the support made by the prudent leadership, seeing it as an incentive for each graduate to pursue scientific and practical excellence for the sake of the nation's advancement.

Dr. Al Ayyan added that this year witnessed the graduation of (1104) students from the Higher Colleges of Technology, including (318) graduates from Abu Dhabi, (93) from Al Ain, and (20) from Al Ruwais, in addition to (316) students from Khalifa bin Zayed Air College, and (357) students from the Rashid Bin Saeed Naval College. They are all part of the Future Bet 2022 Class of the 3,344 Higher Colleges of Technology graduates who successfully completed their studies and obtained their university degrees with merit.
