(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Finance Ministry Undersecretary, Aseel Al-Munaifi, headed Kuwait's delegation in the fourth meeting of the Permanent Preparatory Committee at the ministerial level for the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
In a statement Monday, the GCC secretariat said that the meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim, and with the participation of the GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf.
The committee's members discussed the initiatives and projects contained in the work program of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority to achieve economic unity in 2025, including the completion of the remaining topics of the customs union and the Gulf common market, the statement added.
Moreover, the meeting approved the framework for the governance studies and projects that are prepared within the framework of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority. (end)
