Kuwaiti Crown Prince: Middle East Green Initiative Summit Serves As Foundation For Regional Cooperation In Addressing Impacts Of Climate Change

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Sharm El Sheikh, November 07, 2022, SPA -- sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, crown prince of the State of Kuwait, affirmed that the Middle East Green Initiative Summit provides a foundation for regional collaboration in addressing the consequences of climate change.
In his speech at the Middle East Green Initiative Summit, which was held on the sidelines of the COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, he said:” The Middle East Green Initiative Summit serves as a catalyst for regional collaboration in addressing the impacts of climate change and marks a significant turning point for the Middle East region in climate action.”
The Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to fully support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts and its commitment to what is agreed upon in light of its capabilities and resources. He also stated that Kuwait will spare no effort to achieve the recommendations made by this initiative in all of its editions.
