Iran, Oman hold discussion to grow banking relations
(MENAFN) Officials of the central banks of Iran and Oman have underlined the growth of banking relations in a gathering held by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) in the capital city, as reported by IRNA.
As mentioned in the reports, CBI Governor Ali Saleh-Abadi gathered with his Omani fellow Taher bin Salem al Omari on Thursday to talk about banking and financial ties among the two nations.
Al Omari reached in the capital Tehran on Wednesday to host discussions on the improvement of banking relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Throughout the discussions, the representatives talked about the growth of banking relations at two-sided and global rates.
While giving a speech the press after the gathering, al Omari labelled the two sided connections as very good, highlighting that his nation is prepared to grow banking and global cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“In the meeting with the head of the Central Bank of Oman, we discussed various issues, in which there was a consensus between the two sides in all fields, and good agreements were made, and we will continue this successful path,” Saleh-Abadi stated.
