(MENAFN) The foreign ministers of Türkiye and the UAE assembled on Friday to talk over ties and local improvements.
Mevlut Cavusoglu saw his Emirati fellow sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan throughout a three-day trip to the Gulf realm.
"We discussed bilateral relations and regional development, including the ongoing Russian attack on Ukraine," Cavusoglu shared on Twitter.
Moreover, both ministers negotiated how to improve two-sided collaboration in the fields of economy, commerce, and energy.
Relations between Turkiye and the Arab world are seeing a big thaw following years of tense ties.
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's November 2021 visit resulted in the declaration of a USD10 billion fund for investments in Turkiye.
Both nations also inked many deals on energy, environment, finance, and trade.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also went to the UAE in February, with the two nations signing 13 deals in many fields.
