Covid Cases To Be Isolated For 10 Days In Two Phases

COVID-19 infected persons will be isolated for ten days in two phases, Hamad General Hospital's medical director Dr Yousef al-Maslamani told Qatar TV.
While Qatar residents have to be isolated at home for five days, travellers have to isolate in hotels for the same period, he explained.
'After the first five days of isolation, those infected can move around, but should wear a mask while interacting with others. In the room or car they need not wear a mask,' Dr al-Maslamani said.
All Covid-19 travel checks have been withdrawn from November 1. 'The Ministry of Public health has initiated the new decision due to the public's cooperation that led to a decrease in the number of cases and deaths for the fifth consecutive week,' the official added.
