Qatar, Benin Chambers Sign Mou To Enhance Co-Operation

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Chamber recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Benin Chamber of Commerce and industry to develop economic and commercial relations and streamline bilateral co-operation between the State and the West African country.
The MoU was signed by Qatar Chamber first vice chairman Mohamed bin Towar al-Kuwari and the Benin Chamber president Arnauld Akakpo in the presence of Benin ambassador to the State of Qatar Mohamed Bare.
Al-Kuwari said the MoU is part of the chamber's efforts to enhance co-operation relations with its counterparts from different countries and enable the private sector to build constructive relations with its counterparts worldwide to help develop the State's global.
The MoU stipulates that both chambers will work to develop both countries' economic and commercial ties, develop a work programme to facilitate and expand trade, and enable business communities to benefit from available opportunities, as well as the exchange of available economic information and establish partnerships to implement business projects in both countries.
The agreement also allows both parties to exchange information on legislation in the economic and trade fields, as well as all measures that would contribute to the development of economic relations between the two countries.
It further aims to expand the scope of measures to assist and facilitate the visits of mutual delegations and to establish a framework for co-operation in the areas of technical and vocational training for human resources.
