(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — In implementation of Royal directives, Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, head of the Follow-up Committee for Implementation of Royal Initiatives, on Thursday met a number of military retirees, with whom His Majesty King Abdullah met last Monday in Irbid, to follow up on their needs and demands.
Issawi stressed that His Majesty King Abdullah constantly directs his attention to military retirees as a source of pride for the nation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He affirmed that the meeting came as a response to directives from His Majesty King Abdullah to activate and maintain channels of communication with people in various regions of the Kingdom, especially military retirees.
The demands focused on improving services and means to address unemployment.
The attendees valued His Majesty's keenness to continue holding meetings with military retirees, stressing the importance of the Royal communicative approach, which reflects positively on the country.
