(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian troops shelled 11 settlements in Donetsk region in the past 24 hours. This was reported by the Donetsk region of the National Police, according to Ukrinform.
The cities of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, the town of Ocheretyne, the villages of Druzhba, Karlivka, Lastochkyne, Maksymilianivka, Solovyove, and Khromove were affected.
The Russian military used Grad MLRS and artillery to shell the settlements.
Enemy missile strikes were launched on the city of Krasnohorivka and the village of Maksymilianivka. Russian shells struck residential houses, wounding people.
In addition, the invaders fired at Bakhmut from artillery. As many as 17 private houses were damaged. Casualties have been reported.
The police and Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It is noted that with the help of the police, 294 more people were evacuated from Donetsk region. Since the beginning of mandatory evacuation, more than 23,800 people, including 3,776 children and 1,290 people with disabilities, have been evacuated from the region.
