DELHI — travel technology company Amadeus has hired Zeno for integrated communications support. Zeno's win follows a stiff, competitive multi-agency pitch. The agency will be delivering an integrated communications remit that includes working closely with the brand to enhance its reputation, media relations, digital strategy and social media marketing. The emphasis will be on creative storytelling across corporate, Technology & innovation and employer branding practices. Zeno's appointment in India expands the firm's existing partnership with Amadeus in selected markets in Europe, North America, and some Asia-Pacific markets.
SYDNEY — WE Communications has strengthened its creative capability with the appointment of Neil Harris as its creative director. In this new role, Harris will be responsible for overseeing WE's creative and studio offering in Australia and contribute to the next chapter of growth for the growing communications agency. Most recently the creative lead at health-tech platform Mable, Harris brings 25 years' experience as a creative thinker and copywriter. He has held creative leadership positions at WiTH Collective, DDB and Clemenger BBDO, working with brands such as HP, Telstra, Foxtel, Vinnies and VW.
HONG KONG — Sinclair has made three new leadership appointments. Philippa Lui, who joined Sinclair in 2016, is promoted to chief financial officer, as which she will ensure Sinclair meets the highest ethical standards in cross-border operations and compliance, as well as helping to steer agency growth. Carbo Yu, a five-year veteran of Sinclair, is promoted to regional executive director with the remit of further growing the agency's integrated service offerings across SEO, content strategy, influencer marketing, research and insights and creative services. In addition, Jessica Man has been promoted from director to managing director of Sinclair's Hong Kong office, as which she will have responsibility for the Hong Kong business' revenue growth and talent development.
BRISBANE — Red Havas Brisbane has added a suite of new clients to its roster. They include dairy cooperative Norco; community pharmacy TerryWhite Chemmart; and senior care provider The Whiddon Group. The new client roster also includes electric vehicle charger manufacturer Tritium, a Brisbane-based organisation that recently opened their first factory in the US.
SYDNEY — UEG Worldwide recently announced its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region, which will be covered by a raft of senior hires as part of its official launch. Led by EVP Si Philby, UEG APAC covers 12 markets and has merged the Background Creative Counsel network across the region. Other senior leaders include China director Piers Hopkins and APAC general managers Isobel Howard and Rosie Ranck.
