President: Serbia works on new oil storage services, new pipeline

(MENAFN) Leader Aleksandar Vucic stated on Saturday that Serbia is working on additional oil storage services as well as arrangements to build an additional oil pipeline to Hungary to tame the worldwide energy catastrophe.

Vucic's comments came in a speech to the country where he stated that Serbia is also arranging to attach to the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) and the Trans-Anatolian (TANAP) gas pipelines

He stated that Serbia is on operation to additional oil storage services and there are two proposals.

The leader stated that “One of which is from the British Vitol for 400 to 500,000 tons, and the other from a consortium of our oilmen for 200,000 tons. The British Vitol is asking for special conditions for arbitration, and the consortium of our oilmen offers to build a warehouse of 200,000 tons”

Vucic stated previously this week that Serbia has warehouses filled with nearly to 380 million cubic meters of gas in Hungary.
