Iran: Bushehr province sees increase of 62 percent in commodities shipments in H1
(MENAFN) The worth of commodities shipped from Bushehr district, in the southwest of Iran, surged 62 percent in the first six months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22), in comparison with the same six months in the last year, as stated by a provincial official.
Ali Soleymani, the head of Bushehr Customs Department, pointed out that 14.362 million tons of non-oil goods valued at USD7.481 billion were shipped from the province in the opening six-month period of the ongoing year, representing 36 percent surge in terms of mass on an annual basis as well.
One of the significant volumes of the coastal province of Bushehr on the verge of the Persian Gulf is maritime exchange and financial relations with several nations.
Bushehr district has the biggest sea border with the Persian Gulf, and in this regard, many customs and port services are supplied for exchangers and merchants on the shores of Bushehr region.
