Doha: Commercial Bank, the leading digital Bank in Qatar, has received nine prestigious awards from Global Finance in 2022 across both Consumer and Corporate Digital Banking award categories.
Being the first Qatari Bank to receive a global recognition by Global Finance, Commercial Bank was invited to participate in the awarding ceremony honouring Global Winners at Global Finance's World's Best Digital Banks and Innovators Awarding Ceremony held on September 20 at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC in Dubai.
“With the multi-year pandemic accelerating banks' digitalisation efforts, the market has witnessed a rapid evolution in electronic offerings,” said Joseph Giarraputo, Founder and Editorial Director of Global Finance.“Those financial institutions that best introduced new and improved products and services were honoured as Global Finance's World's Best Digital Banks 2022”.
Commercial Bank has been recognised as the best in the following digital banking categories on consumer level in Qatar: Best Online Deposit - Card and Investment Product Offerings; Best User Experience (UX) Design; Best in Social Media Marketing and Consumer Services; and Best Open Banking APIs.
The Bank also won on consumer level in the world the Best in Social Media Marketing and Consumer Services. While on corporate level in Qatar it won: Best Trade Finance Services; Best Integrated Corporate Banking Site; and Best Mobile Banking App.
Finally, on corporate level in the Middle East Commercial Bank won the Best Integrated Corporate Banking Site.
