MES Holds Intra-School Debate Competition

MES Indian School's Department of Commerce (economics) organised an intra-school virtual debate competition recently for Commerce and Humanities stream students of classes XI and XII. The topic was 'Privatisation – a strategy for economic growth in India'. Six students from each team debated in favour and against the motion. Johann George was chosen as the best speaker for the motion while Hiba Asif was the best speaker against the motion. The first runners-up were Athulya (for) and Nafeesa (against), while the second runners-up were Grace Thomas (for) and Rene Mary Elwish (against).
