Iran holds meeting with Mauritius to grow financial ties between two nations
(MENAFN) Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture on Saturday held the initial Iran-Mauritius business meeting which was joined by senior officials as well as private area officials from the two nations.
According to a report by the ICCIMA portal, the meeting was joined by a high-ranking trade representative from Mauritius that took a trip to Iran to discover methods of growing exchange ties among the two nations.
ICCIMA chief Gholam-Hossein Shafeie, Chief of Iran-East Africa Joint Chamber of Commerce Masoud Berahman, ICCIMA Secretary General Mojtaba Modareszadeh, Secretary-General of Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Yousouf Ismael, in addition to the nation’s deputy foreign affairs minister were between the people who joined the stated meeting.
Discussing at the event, Shafeie highlighted that the Iranian administration and private area have always positioned special importance on the growth of financial ties with African nations and said: “We are determined to pave the way for the businessmen of our country to reach the African markets.”
