Qatar Charity Signs Agreement To Drill 50 Wells In Albania

Tirana: Qatar Charity has signed an agreement to drill 50 wells with a cost of QR one million for roughly 10,000 beneficiaries from Tirana County in Albania.

The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Albania Ali bin Hamad Al Marri, Mayor of Fier Municipality Armando Subashi, and Director of Qatar Charity's Office in Albania Mahmoud Abbas Shaker.

In the speech he delivered during the signing ceremony, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Albania Ali bin Hamad Al Marri praised the robust relations between the two countries, as well as their peoples, confirming that Qatar attaches great importance to enhancing relations of cooperation with Albania in various fields.

For his part, Mayor of Fier Municipality Armando Subashi commended the efforts of the state of Qatar and its unwavering support offered to Albania and its people, hailing the role of Qatar Charity in its cooperation and assiduous efforts dedicated to implementing the projects through pursuing high quality standards.

This agreement would primarily contribute to alleviating the problem of water and disruption of water supply, specially in the government institutions across the county, he added, expressing hope for new cooperation prospects between the two countries in the near future.
