Iran’s shipments to Albania reaches USD3.6m in January-June


(MENAFN) The worth of Iranian shipments to Albania amounted to USD3.6 million in the opening half of this year, as shown by Albania’s Institute of Statistics (INSTAT).

As IRIB mentioned in a report, the shipment of Iranian goods to Albania has decreased marginally in the stated period in comparison with the first six months of last year when the number was at USD3.7 million.

According to the data issued by INSTAT, trade exchanges among the two nations amounted to their peak worth throughout the last seven years, last year.

Iran shipped nearly USD5.9 million value of commodities to Albania last year, which was considerably more than the number for the year before, Iran's shipments to Albania in 2020 were nearly USD2.2 million.

According to reports, foodstuff, dates, dried fruits, pistachios, saffron, carpets, construction stones, glass as well as crystals, petroleum, petrochemical and chemical materials, textile, metal outputs, in addition to electrical machinery and tools are between the highest Iranian goods shipped to the markets of the Balkan district, mainly Albania.
