Al-Azhar Condemns The Israeli Aggression On Gaza Strip

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Cairo, Aug. 6, 2022, SPA -- In the strongest words, Al-Azhar condemned the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, denouncing the international community silence which, it said, encourages the Israeli authorities to continue its violations and attacks against innocent Palestinian people.
In a statement here today, Al-Azhar said that the continuing Israeli violations of Palestinian rights, targeting defenseless people, demolishing their homes, usurping their properties, confiscating their lands, expanding the settlements, and changing the historic and legal demorphology of Palestinian cities, are black points in the face of the world community.
The statement stressed the need for a unified stance of Arab and Muslim communities to provide support for the fair cause and legal struggle of Palestinians.
