Iran holds meeting with Armenia to discuss implementation of deals, memorandums achieved
(MENAFN) Iran-Armenia mutual industry, mining, and trade working group hosted a conference on Monday in which the two parties talked about the execution of deals and memorandums achieved in the last conference of Iran-Armenia Mutual Financial Committee.
Held by Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), the event was joined by TPO Head Alireza Peyman-Pak, Director-General of the TPO's office of Central Asia, Caucasus, in addition to Russia Rahmatollah Khormali, as well as Armenia’s deputy economy minister.
As mentioned in a report by the TPO portal, the two sides talked about several topics including Iran's export of engineering and technical services to Armenia, barter exchange among the two nations, improving the north-south corridor, forming mutual industrial parks, as well as combined output of medicine and medical equipment in Iran in addition to the exchange of pharmaceuticals.
While greeting the idea of the combined manufacture of medicine and medical equipment in Armenia, the Armenian party considered this venture as a chance to enter global markets.
