US is supplying intelligence on Donbass targets to Kiev
(MENAFN) According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Washington has not only delivered long-range High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) to Kiev, but it has also provided intelligence on targets in Donbass and has even "unofficially" dispatched experts to Ukraine to assist with the gear.
Moscow claims that the Ukrainian government directed forces to use US-made weaponry to shell people in the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
During a press conference in Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Ukrainian forces “have used US-supplied multiple-launch rocket systems HIMARS on all fronts.” She went on to say that Washington has been actively exchanging intelligence on targets with Kiev and has even “unofficially dispatched instructors, who were helping representatives of the Kiev regime to aim correctly.”
Zakharova attributed the current increase in Ukrainian shelling to the transfer of US-made missile systems.
She stated that the Ukrainian military “has apparently been ordered by Kiev to use the said launchers against civilians without any hesitation.”
On Thursday, Russia's Foreign Ministry published a statement saying that Moscow's “operation will continue despite attempts by the US and its allies to 'strengthen the security' of Ukraine.”
