QTTA Bids To Host 2025 World Championships
Doha: The Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA) announced that it has officially submitted its bid to host the 2025 World Table Tennis Championships.
The host cities' selection will take place at the 2022 Annual General Meeting to be held on the sidelines of the Chengdu 2022 World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals.
The QTTA President Khalil Al Mohannadi said that the state of Qatar is excited to host the world championships for the second time after the successful edition of the event held in 2004.
The ITTF announced recently that it has received official expressions of interest from seven (7) countries to host the 2025 World Table Tennis Championships Finals including Qatar, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.
