Zelensky decides when war shall end


(MENAFN) Ukrainian Leader Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that the war between Russia and Ukraine have to end by the end of 2022, he informed G7 leaders on Monday, Zelensky also asked for tougher restrictions on Moscow, in agreement with Reuters, which quoted two EU envois.

Addressing the presidents of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the US through video link, Zelensky reportedly said that Ukrainian forces would have a much harder time attacking Russian troops when the harsh winter conditions start, advising the G7 to do everything they can to stop the battle by the end of the year, while asking for anti-aircraft defense systems, in addition to safety assurances.

Zelensky also requested for tougher restrictions on Russia, claiming it is essential “not to lower the pressure” and continue forcing “heavy” punitive measures.
